Very nice campground. Had site right on the river. Not a bad site in the park. Did have an issue with ants. Not park's fault, but be prepared for the invasion!
Most sites on the lake or have lake views. App. 15 miles from town, but small stores and restaurants near by. Great for water activities. Nice and peaceful in the evenings.
Nice campground on the banks of the Santa Fe River. Office folks very friendly. Had a real nice riverfront site w/fire ring. Only negative I saw is they rent riverfront lots to long term campers. Looks like some campers have been there for awhile. Doesn't seem quite fair that most of the riverfront sites were campers that have no one around them. Guessing these are folks that come here in the summer time. Branford and Bell are the closest towns. Not large cities, but have grocery stores and a couple of restaurants. Wi-Fi worked very well. Just a couple of TV channels. We were under trees and could not use Sat dish. Boat launch and large floating dock on premises. Will be back.
This is a new RV park that specializes in Horse events and trail riding. Check out their website for more details. Pros: The sites are huge. The driveways are concrete with grassy sites. The park is located in the country and is very peaceful. There is a well stocked convenience store on site. The folks running the place are very friendly. Cons: Some of the sites are fairly unlevel, although I had no problems with my 38' coach. Not much going on around the property when I was there. May be a little boring for kids. I enjoy peace and quiet and being able to view wide open skies at night. This is the place for doing just that! Major shopping is within 15 miles of the campground.
This is a very nice place to camp and home base while enjoying the nearby Amish country shops and beautiful Ohio countryside. Will definitely return next year.
This is a nice park in a very quiet area. We stayed during the off season so the park was not overly crowded. Not much to do in the way of activities, but if you want to relax in peace and quiet, this is the place for you. Staff very friendly. Went to Waverly for groceries and restaurants. Town of Bainbridge is nearby with stores as well.
This is a nice campground for staying near St. Augustine, not far from I-95. I stayed in the front of the park, and the traffic noise from Rt. 207 was a little louder than I liked, but not bad. There were nice office folks. It was a very short drive into St. Augustine historical district. Shopping centers are not far. I will definitely stay here again.
